Storytime: Bev and Gene (An Update)

One thing that the Colorado real estate market often lacks is Patio Homes and 55+ communities. When my Aunt and Uncle started planning to sell their home of 49 years and move into a no-maintenance home, for their final home [I have a hard time typing that BTW], we KNEW it was going to be a bit tricky. Selling was the easy part, then the search was ON to find a newer, affordable, patio home in West Arvada. They were prepared to live in their 5th wheel for a bit IF it came to that, after all they didn't want to feel rushed buying a house that needed to be the right fit. But, I can safely say, we were all a bit relieved to find this gem before that living situation became a reality! We were able to negotiate the price down a bit, choose a perfect closing and move-in date and they even had time to get the entire home painted BEFORE move-in! Congratulations, Bev + Gene. May your new home be filled with all the love and laughter, but less yard work and stairs! Mwaaa!
