Story Time: Ruby’s House

When my clients were contemplating a move to the country in search of a calm and debt free lifestyle, they knew their mom would follow suit.

When I first met Ruby, we instantly hit it off. She was fun and so full of energy! She worked hard to get her home ready for market quickly. The market was beginning to shift and time was moving so fast! She prepped and listened to all of my suggestions to get the home ready to go!

It was literally the last weekend of decent activity before things really cooled off. The night before we went live, Ruby had put some fresh paint over the basement stairs and floor. Neither one of us knew it, but the paint she had stored and used had soured. Did you know that's a thing?! It smelled sour and pretty strong.

Our first showings were turned off and concerned about the smell. We had to act fast to bleach the paint and try to get rid of the bacteria in it. Luckily, we fixed the issue before Saturday and still ended up getting a GREAT offer from a wonderful couple who were SO excited to move to Arvada!
